SPIRIT Slovenia has launched a new public call for proposals to help Slovenian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) strengthen their international presence. The initiative aims to increase the global competitiveness of Slovenian companies by co-financing activities that promote entry and growth in foreign markets.
Purpose of the Call
The program is designed to help SMEs increase their export activities, develop stronger international networks and increase their visibility abroad. With financial support, companies can more easily cover the costs associated with promotion, market entry and participation in key business events.
Eligible Applicants
The tender is open to Slovenian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises as defined by EU regulations. Applicants must be duly registered in Slovenia and meet the eligibility conditions specified in the tender dossier.
Available Funds and Co-financing Amounts
The total budget for the call is EUR 2 million. Each applicant may receive:
Between EUR 3,000 and EUR 9,999 for smaller-scale activities, such as preparation of promotional materials or digital campaigns for foreign markets.
Between EUR 10,000 and EUR 25,000 for larger activities, including participation at international trade fairs, organisation of business delegations abroad, or comprehensive international marketing strategies.
The maximum co-financing rate is 60% of eligible costs. The precise amount awarded depends on the scope and type of activities proposed by each applicant.
Eligible Activities
Applicants may apply for support for a wide range of internationalisation activities, including:
Participation in international fairs, exhibitions, and B2B events
Organisation of business delegations and networking activities abroad
Digital promotion and advertising targeted at foreign markets
Design and production of marketing materials for international audiences
Deadlines
