If you are a tax resident of the Republic of Slovenia, you are required to submit a personal income tax assessment form for cash deposit interests at banks and savings banks, established in Slovenia and other EU countries by 28 February 2018 at the latest. Slovenian banks and savings banks will automatically forward data to the Financial Administration (FURS). The banks and savings banks will also inform you about this.

The income tax assessment form must be submitted by the resident taxpayer by 28 February of the current year for the previous year at the Financial Administration (FURS). The form can also be submitted via the web portal eDavki. From 19 January 2018 onwards, natural persons can access the portal using a username and password. Learn how to use the electronic tax business eDavki at http://edavki.durs.si/OpenPortal/Pages/StartPage/StartPage.aspx.

The assessment form is not required to be submitted by a resident taxpayer whose total amount of interest on cash deposits with banks and savings banks, established in the Republic of Slovenia and in other EU countries, achieved during the fiscal year, does not exceed EUR 1,000.
