Ljubljana, 8 January (STA) – The Ljubljana Stock Exchange has concluded the fifth consecutive day in the black on Tuesday. The SBI TOP blue chip index added 2.15% to 695.64 points. Retailer Mercator was the biggest gainer, up 7.67% to EUR 124.90. Total turnover amounted to EUR 2.68m.
The most coveted item was again drug maker Krka with EUR 1.37m in volumes. Krka was up 1.84% to EUR 56.
Household appliances maker Gorenje was moreover up 5.61% to EUR 4.33. Telco Telekom Slovenije gained 1.95% to EUR 101.95. Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav increased by 0.33% to EUR 18.30.
Energy company Petrol and NKBM bank remained level at EUR 255 and EUR 1.3, respectively.
Outside the SBI TOP index, the biggest increase was recorded by reinsurance company Pozavarovalnica Sava, which was up 5% to EUR 8.40.
