Ljubljana, 13 February (STA) – The SBI TOP blue chip index on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange ended Wednesday’s trading at 656.50 points, up 0.09% compared to Tuesday. The winner of the day was retailer Mercator, which added 1.99% to EUR 128.

Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav was up 1.16% to EUR 17, while the NKBM bank and energy company Petrol gained 0.81% to EUR 1.37 and 0.21% to EUR 238, respectively.

Meanwhile, telco Telekom Slovenia was down 2% to EUR 88.20, household appliance maker Gorenje shed 1.80% to EUR 4.32 and pharma company Krka lost 0.15% to EUR 53.22.

Total daily turnover was paper-thin at some EUR 774,000.

Outside the blue chip index, logistics company Intereuropa plummeted almost 9% to EUR 0.70 and port operator Luka Koper almost 5% to EUR 8.60. Reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava gained 1.39% to EUR 8.
