Ljubljana – Slovenia’s ski resort Kranjska Gora is the fifth best destination for skiers and non-skiers, according to editors and members of online travel advisor VirtualTourist.com. The list is especially tailored to couples where only one partner skies.

VirtualTourist.com believes the Julian Alps in NW Slovenia are a great skiing destination that also provides a number of activities for those who want to enjoy unspoilt nature.

Hiking is a popular way to explore the the Triglav National Park that encompasses much of the Julian Alps, according to VirtualTourist.com.

Chamonix, France ranked seventh, Taos, New Mexico is in place eight, Bariloche, Argentina is number nine and Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada is the tenth best destination for skier and non-skier couples, according to VirtualTourist.com.
