Ljubljana, 1 March (STA) – Trading on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange ended on Friday with a 0.87% rise in the SBI TOP blue chip index to 628.64 points. The busiest item was insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav, which was up 3.75% to EUR 16.16, while the winner of the day was household appliance maker Gorenje, adding 4.34% to EUR 4.30.

The two were followed by telco Telekom Slovenije (+2.48% to EUR 86.25), the NKBM bank (+1.43% to EUR 1.42) and fuel retailer Petrol (+0.96% to EUR 220.10).

Heading downwards was meanwhile retailer Mercator, which lost 1.67% to EUR 118, while pharma Krka was flat at EUR 52.

Zavarovalnica Triglav accounted for almost EUR 472,000 of the EUR 1.9m in daily turnover.

Among other shares, logistics company Intereuropa shed 3.31% to EUR 0.70 and reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava lost 1.32% to EUR 7.50. Port operator Luka Koper was up 2.91% to EUR 8.85.
