The seventh edition of the Bled (Slovenia), Strategic Forum, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Centre for European Perspective, will be taking place on 2nd and 3rd September. Under the title Europe and the Reshaped Global Order, the conference will focus on the role of Europe in a changing international community, regional challenges in South Mediterranean, Southeast Europe and Central Asia, as well as European Union -China relations

The Forum’s latest addition, the Business BSF, is organised in cooperation with IEDC–Bled School of Management. The discussion titled New Challenges, New Champions will address possible ways to boost economic growth and the role of sustainability in economic development. Furthermore, participants will touch upon promising companies – hidden champions.

The conference will also be featuring the second edition of Young BSF, scheduled for 1 September. On this occasion, young participants will discuss the Western Balkans, South Mediterranean and the role of digital communications in diplomacy and international relations.

This year’s international conference is proud to welcome the prime ministers of Albania and Kosovo. Participation has also been confirmed by the foreign ministers of Croatia, Jordan, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovakia, and the Palestinian Authority, secretaries-general of the OECD and the OSCE, the president of the EBRD, as well as many other representatives of international organisations, economy, academia, and countries world-wide.
